Emmy Woodhouse can find the perfect match for anyone — except herself.

Junior matchmaker Emmy Woodhouse is brilliant at strategy, but her job at Boston’s top matchmaking agency is hanging by a thread. To prove she belongs, she needs a star client — and she knows exactly who to target: her brother’s best friend, NFL superstar Grant Knight.

Grant is perfectly content with his life exactly the way it is. He has no interest in a relationship, let alone a setup. But he’s never been able to say no to Emmy. So when she begs him to let her find his “perfect match” to save her career, he agrees to play along.

There’s just one problem. While Emmy is busy vetting candidates and engineering meet-cutes, Grant is busy rescuing her from one athletic disaster after another — on the tennis court, on the ski slopes, anywhere her confidence outruns her coordination.
